My name is Eunice Callejas. I have 22 years of teaching experience. I’ve been teaching Dyslexia the past 12 years. I attended East LeTourneau University (Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies–English & Social Studies), University of Texas of the Permian Basin (Master’s Degree in Bilingual/ESL and Educational Leadership). Currently, I am a Dyslexia Therapist licensed through the State of Texas. Dyslexia runs in my family with severe to mild cases of dyslexia [myself, niece…]. I am passionate about helping children learn how to overcome the many challenges they face during their elementary years. Also, celebrate with these children every success/milestone during the time I get to serve them.
My name is Jodi Childress, and I have 21 years of experience in Education, including 11 years specializing in Dyslexia. My understanding of the challenges students face comes from personal experience—I grew up with Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia. I also recognize the struggles that parents and families encounter when a child is facing these learning differences. My daughter, J.J., who also has Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia, was my inspiration to further my education. Her journey motivated me to earn a Master’s Degree and complete the Scottish Rite Dyslexia Therapist’s Program. I am living proof that with determination and perseverance, anything is possible. Today, I am a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist and a Certified Academic Language Therapist. I am passionate about providing therapy to individuals with Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia, and I am grateful for the opportunity to help them discover their unique strengths every day.
