My son Chadin was blessed to have Mrs. Childress come into his life. When he started school, he struggled in reading and writing. He would act out when asked to read out loud but after she started working with him Chadin’s grades improved and he gained confidence in reading and writing. She not only helped identify his learning disability, dyslexia/dysgraphia, at an early age but also invested her time in helping him overcome it. Chadin now excels academically, earning all A’s and B’s in school, and has developed a passion for reading. He has grown remarkably in confidence. Thank you Ms. Childress.

I was amazed when my daughter, J.J., worked with Mrs. Callejas on her Dyslexia. She is a reluctant learner and does not like reading or writing. When Mrs. Callejas asked her to read or practice her cursive handwriting, she would do it without complaining. The encouragement she provided helped my daughter’s self-confidence increase greatly. Not only was she learning but she was having fun.
When I asked Brooke about Ms. Childress she said “She’s AMAZING!” And then told me to put that in all caps. Brooke also says that Ms. Childress is nice and friendly. Brooke likes the way she teaches Scottish Rite’s Take Flight program because she makes it easy and fun!
When my daughter’s PreK teacher mentioned she might be showing signs of dyslexia, I knew early intervention could make a big difference—especially since I have dyslexia myself. A dear friend recommended Ms. Jodi at Dyslexia Innovations, and I am so grateful for that recommendation! From the start, Ms. Jodi has been exceptional. She engages my daughter in a way that keeps her excited to learn, and we’ve already seen noticeable progress. Eva is now working through the Build Program, and even her school has commented on the improvement. She genuinely looks forward to her sessions—especially when Maci (Ms. Childress’ Toy Poodle) is there to read her a story! I can’t say enough good things about Ms. Jodi and Dyslexia Innovations. Thanks to her, Eva is learning foundational skills that will help her for a lifetime. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable and caring approach to dyslexia support, I highly recommend Ms. Jodi!
Ms. Jodi has been an absolute blessing to our family. Both of my children have had the pleasure of working with her, and from the very beginning, they were excited to attend dyslexia class. This meant so much to me because dyslexia intervention requires a lot of hard work, and their eagerness to be there and learn with her speaks volumes about the supportive and engaging environment she creates. One of the most memorable experiences was when both of my children participated in a self-published book alongside their dyslexia classmates. That experience ignited a love for storytelling, and since then, my daughter has started writing her own book—using speech-to-text and AI tools to help her edit and bring her ideas to life. But the most incredible part of their journey with Miss Jodi is the confidence and empowerment they gained. She has not only equipped them with the skills they need but has also helped shape the way they see themselves and their potential for future success. As a parent, knowing that someone truly cares about your children while also having the expertise to make a real impact is invaluable. I will be forever grateful for the moments when my kids felt proud of their progress, excited about their learning, and empowered to tackle challenges that once seemed impossible. Miss Jodi has made an immeasurable difference in our lives, and I recommend her to anyone looking for help with their children’s dyslexia needs.
